Iranian MPs approved in the first reading the amendment to law on support of the Palestinian people, according to which Jerusalem is called in the document, al-Quds, the recognized capital of the «state of Palestine».
In support of the proposal made by 187 participants in the vote, 15 members voted against, nine parliamentarians abstained. Reported this channel Press TV

The amendment will be submitted to the relevant Committee, where it awaits consideration on an emergency basis. It is expected that on 26 December it will be approved in the second and third reading.
