Friday, 2 March, 17 people died in the bombing of the Turkish air force in a village in the district of Afrin in the North-West of Syria. It is reported by the Syrian center for monitoring the observance of human rights.
Among the dead are fighters of the Kurdish people’s protection Units and the army of the Assad regime.
On 1 March the Turkish media reported that Syrian border enclave of Afrin are moved by an elite unit of the police and gendarmerie. They will take part in the battles for settlements Gingeras and Rajo – suburb of Afrin.
Following this is scheduled to begin operation on capture of the Afrin. Attempt to take it outright failed, for the Turkish army came as a surprise to the hundreds laid on the outskirts of the city of roadside bombs and tunnels used by Kurdish militants.
