February 9, died from cancer of famous Irish footballer Liam Miller, according to British newspaper The Guardian.
On 13 February he would have been 37 years old.
At the end of last year, the footballer was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Liam Miller is a graduate of the Celtic, with whom he became champion of Scotland, 2004.
In the years 2004-06, the midfielder played for «Manchester United» (one season in rent in «Leeds»).
He also played for the club AGF Aarhus (Denmark), Sunderland (helped the «black cats» to get to the Premier League in 2007), «Queens Park Rangers», «Hibernian», «Perth glory», «Brisbane roar» (Champions 2014, Australia), «Melbourne city», «cork city», «Wilmington Hammerheads» (USA).
Liam Miller is the winner of the Junior (players under 17) European championship 1998. For the national team of Ireland he has played more than 20 matches.
