Afshin Kambar, 9-year-old girl from Pakistan’s Sindh province, suffers from a rare neurological disorder due to which her neck is bent at an angle of 90 degrees. Afshin needs help to eat, to drink, to go to the toilet and move around, writes the Mirror.
According to her parents, the local doctors are not able to help their daughters, while they do not exclude that the solution will be able to find their colleagues in Karachi. However, the family afşin has no money to send her to the clinic in the province of Sindh.
The girl’s mother, Jamila, recalls that before the age of eight, her daughter was completely healthy. Everything changed when, while playing outside, she fell and felt the pain in the neck. First, the parents paid no attention to her complaint, when the situation worsened, took the child to the «best doctors».
Disease girls turned her into a pariah: children are afraid to play with it, and adults think she’s «being punished for sins.» In addition, she can’t learn and are forced to spend time in four walls.
