Approved for publication: Monday, 19 June, 25-year-old Jerusalem resident arrested on suspicion of assaulting a resident of one of the Arab neighborhoods on the grounds of national hatred.
According to investigators, the suspect stopped near the victim, who was on the street with 19-year-old resident of Jerusalem, and asked him if he was an Arab.
After receiving an affirmative answer, the suspect beat him with a stick and fled. Police were called to the scene by passers-by, who witnessed the incident.
Soon the suspect was detained, and during interrogation has given grateful evidences. His arrest was extended until Thursday, June 22.
