Tuesday, November 21, at the Knesset held a solemn meeting devoted to the 40th anniversary of the visit of Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to Israel. The meeting was made by Prime Minister Netanyahu, however, he spoke before a half-empty room.
According to radio station «Kan bet», at the ceremonial meeting was attended by at least 20 parliamentarians and only two Ministers. Due to the lack of a forum, Netanyahu was forced to turn to the Chairman of the Knesset with a request to make the event in the agenda of the Knesset for the next year. «It’s sad. And it will have to be corrected», — quotes the journalist «Kahn Beth» ze’ev Kam, the head of the government in the «Twitter» radio station.
Note that in his speech devoted to the historical visit of Egyptian President, Netanyahu said he had not yet met a «Palestinian Sadat» who would be willing to recognize Israel’s right to exist within its present borders.
