A citizen of Russia and the United States Alexander Tverdokhlebov was sentenced in U.S. court to imprisonment for 110 months on charges of Internet fraud.

Alexander Tverdokhlebov was arrested in February in Los Angeles (California). In March, he pleaded guilty in court.
According to investigators, the hacker stole money from thousands of Bank accounts of Americans and illegally controlled nearly half a million private computers with malicious software.
According to court records, Tverdokhlebov was born and raised in Russia, in 2009, he married an American woman and soon received US citizenship. He later divorced, but retained American citizenship.
