The appeals Committee of FIFA has considered the applications filed by former head of FIFA Sepp Blatter, and former head of UEFA Michel Platini.
The Committee did not satisfy the requirements of officials, but reduced the suspension from football since the age of 8 to 6. With the words «for their service to football», reports The Guardian.
Now Sepp Blatter and Platini Michell have the right to appeal to court of arbitration for Sport in Lausanne.
Recall that Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini were suspended for 90 days and then suspended from football activities because of suspicious payment in the amount of 2 million Swiss francs.
The money was paid to the head of the UEFA in 2011. Blatter and Platini said that it was payment for work done previously and the payment was made on the basis of an oral agreement of the parties.
However, such explanations did not satisfy investigators.
