Sunday, 21 February, in Amman hosted a meeting between U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry and Chairman of the Palestinian national authority Mahmoud Abbas.

Mahmoud Abbas also told Kerry that he is making efforts to create a Palestinian national unity government that would include Hamas representatives.
The head of the PNA reported that Ramallah will continue to apply to international institutions, including the UN security Council, to compel Israel to stop the construction behind the «green line».
Mahmoud Abbas also asked Kerry to help release under administrative arrest Arab journalist Muhammad al-Kika, a hunger strike 88 days ago.
