After the «protest short skirts» the administration of the Knesset has published a new dress code

Thursday, March 9, the CEO of the Knesset albert Zakharovich issued a new dress code must be followed when visiting the Parliament. Under the strict ban were: tracksuits, sandals without a heel, short «tops» t-shirts, short dresses and skirts and shorts.

Visitors and those who work in the Knesset, it is recommended to stick to business, classic or formal. According to the image attached for example to the dress code, women should wear elegant jackets and blouses, skirts just below the knee. Men — classic trousers, a tie matching with the shirt, and closed shoes.

Note that the pictures given by the Commission for example, are very different from that adopted in Israel, the style of dress.

The website «Mako», reports that not only changed the dress code, and will be monitored for compliance. If earlier the offender is simply not allowed in the building, it is now — the first violation will be given written warning. In the case of «relapse» will have to go back home to change.

The new dress code was developed by a special Commission, which included parliamentarians, representatives of the administration, parliamentary assistants. Work on new requirements to clothes after 11 December, the security guards refused to allow the building shaked Hasson, parliamentary assistant to the head of the «Zionist camp» meirav Michaeli, considering that her skirt is shorter than that requires a dress code. After a few days at least thirty employees of the Knesset in the framework of the protests appeared to work in short skirts and was stopped at the entrance by the security service.
