Last Sunday one of the main news of the Russian media was the statement by defense Minister Moshe ya’alon said during an interview with radio station «Sieves Beth» in Aryeh Golan, that the plane of air and space forces of Russia had recently invaded the airspace of Israel, but it had no serious consequences. According to the head of the Israeli Ministry of defense, one of the aircraft flew into Israeli air space at about 1 mile from the border with Syria in the Golan heights, with the pilot radioed in, and the aircraft returned to Syria. When exactly was this incident, ya’alon was not informed. The statement of the Minister of defence of Israel has become the main news of the Russian state Agency RIA Novosti, the Agency TASS and some of the other leading Russian media.
«Kommersant» writes that the crisis in Russian-Turkish relations is having a growing impact on world politics. The question, whether will meet Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the opening in Paris of the UN Conference on climate change, has become one of the main topics of the forum. Russia increases pressure on Turkey, and Ankara is trying to pull the brakes on the conflict. But Moscow gives to understand that conciliatory statements by Turkey is not enough, and to resume the dialogue in no hurry. The parties are trying to secure maximum external support to strengthen its position in the ongoing dispute about the incident with the Russian su-24.
«Kommersant» also reminds that on Saturday the President of Russia Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on special economic measures against Turkey. The document suggests how sanctions against Turkish companies and counter-sanctions – in particular, bans the import of Turkish goods and employment of Turkish citizens without special permission of the government. The sanctions portion of the decree is formulated gently enough and does not affect Russian legal entities under the control of Turkish companies. However, the ban on purchases from the last set and on the Turkish experts can severely impair their activities. To determine the extent of this impact, the government will need another few days.
