Ends 4 February visit to Moscow, Ali Akbar Velayati, adviser to leader of the Islamic revolution Ali Khamenei on foreign policy. He was a guest of the Russian Institute for strategic studies, established by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The Iranian envoy held talks with representatives of the Russian leadership: Russian defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov.
According to Velayati, at the moment there are all prerequisites for creating the Alliance of Iran, Russia, Syria and Hizbullah. The Iranian representative noted that its creation would have been an ideal exit. The politician stressed that these forces defending the Syrian people from international terrorism.
The London newspaper «al-Hayat» writes that Velayati called for a new world order that will be able to respond to regional and global threats.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani took in Teheran the Minister for foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The head of state recalled that the imposition of sanctions Berlin was the main economic partner of Tehran and expressed hope for the resumption of cooperation.
