Russia, USA and Jordan came to the agreement on the Memorandum of understanding on the establishment of «zones of de-escalation» in the area of Daraa, in southern Syria, reports emerging in London, the Saudi newspaper «Al-Sharq al-Awsat» citing «Western officials.»
Under this agreement, the parties agreed that in the area located in immediate proximity to the borders of Jordan and Israel, should not be «not Syrian forces» – including the Lebanese «Hezbollah» and Iran’s «Islamic revolutionary guard Corps», says the publication.
The Memorandum also provides that the depth of such a «security zone» will be 30 km (North of the border with Jordan in the area).
«Ash-shark al-Ausat» writes that a tripartite Memorandum of understanding was agreed at the end of last week. However, neither the Russian nor the American nor the Jordanian media did not report about it.
Recall that at the end of last week in the district of Daraa announced the cease-fire. However, the Arab media reported that this week the jihadists have violated the agreement and seized the air defense base of the Syrian army to the West of Daraa.
