Appearing in a London based Saudi newspaper «al-Sharq al-Awsat» wrote on Wednesday, December 2, the militants «Islamic state» were trained to control the planes on the simulators in the city of Sirte (Surt), Libya in the North, under the control of the IG.
The article did not indicate how many militants took part, and it is unclear whether they have further opportunity to make training flights.
According to «al-Sharq al-Awsat», some countries in the Middle East and the Mediterranean have intelligence information about training of militants to control the aircraft and are extremely concerned about this.
Earlier, there were reports of attempts by militants to use the flight technique captured in Syria.
14 years ago the ability to control the aircraft allowed the militants «al-Qaeda» to commit megatrack in the United States. The leaders of ISIS threatened Western countries with similar attacks.
