From Poland to the United States was extradited 33-year-old Jalal al-Tarabin, accused by the us authorities in drug trafficking and money laundering, reports the Boston Globe.
The first hearing on this case was held in Boston on Thursday, February 16.
The acting U.S. attorney in Massachusetts, William Weinreb explained that al-Tarabin is charged with attempting to deliver cocaine (over 5 kg) worth 2.5 million dollars from Colombia to Israel via Boston. In addition, he was charged with money laundering for the six points.
In the same case the accused is a citizen of Jordan, but it still has not been apprehended.
The investigation against these suspects began in October of 2015, notes the Associated Press. Al-Tarabin was arrested in Poland and recently transferred to the American authorities.
