Anton Nosik was buried in the Jewish cemetery in Moscow

On Tuesday, July 11, at the Jewish Vostryakovskoye cemetery in Moscow, was buried Anton Nosik is one of the most famous and distinguished figures of the Russian Internet, journalist and blogger.

Anton Nosik was born on 4 July 1966 in Moscow, in the family of the writer Boris Nosik and philologist Victoria Mochalova. In 1989 he graduated from the medical faculty of MSMSU. In 1990 he immigrated to Israel. He worked as a journalist. In 1997 he returned to Moscow.

Is one of the pioneers of the Russian Internet. In 1996-2001 he was the author of one of the first blog projects in Runet «Evening Internet».

Was the initiator of such well-known projects like the Newspaper.ru, Lenta.ru, To.ru, NTV.ru (NEWSru.com). Directed projects of the holding Rambler, for several years was co-owner of the Israeli website «the Cursor».

Since late 2005 he was co-founder of the charity Fund «Help.org».

In 2006-2009 worked in the company «SOUP», and bought LiveJournal («LiveJournal»).

In 2009-2011, he was chief editor for a news site Bfm.ru.

In 2011-2012 once again collaborated with the company «SOUP» as mediadirector.

He was a member of the public Council of the Russian Jewish Congress.

Died in the night of 9 July 2017 in the suburbs. Buried at Vostryakovskoye cemetery in Moscow.
