Wednesday, 15 December, President Vladimir Putin signed a law providing for the possibility of issuing second passports Russians, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the official portal of legal information.
Currently, Russian law allows to have two passports only Russians who deal with regular – at least once a month with trips outside the country.
A second passport may be the only passport of new generation with electronic media, which is issued for ten years.
As the authors of the law, second passport can be useful to the Russians in case of travel in countries between which there is a conflict. In this case, the presence in the passport stamp on entry to one country may be an obstacle to obtaining a visa in another.
So, for example, often have problems with tourists from Russia arriving in Israel after visiting Iran or Arab countries with whom Israel has no peace Treaty.
