According to the press service of the police, 20-year-old man wrote on the social network that he intends to go to a gay pride parade to attack its participants. «Who’s with me?» he asked his friends.
The man was taken to the police station. The investigation is ongoing.
In 2015, a religious fanatic Yishai Shlisel attacked with a knife on participants in the gay pride parade in tel Aviv, wounding six people. One of the victims, Shira Banks, died from his injuries. In 2016, Shlisel was sentenced to life imprisonment and 31-year prison.
