Sunday, July 2, was allowed to publish the information that the security forces detained a Palestinian Arab, a suspect in the murder of two policemen in the Jordan valley in 2009.
We are talking about assault with a deadly weapon. It was committed on 15 March 2009. The attack killed two employees of the Israeli police senior corporals David Rabinowitz (42) and Ezekiel Ramzarkar (50).
For eight years, the crime remained unsolved. However, in recent months, security forces received information that allowed us to get on the trail involved in the Commission of the murder.
According to the investigation, the murder was committed by two Palestinian Arabs, residents of Samaria. They planned to Rob the truck driver and steal his vehicle, but collided with the police and decided to kill them. David Rabinowitz and Yehezkel Ramzarkar were killed by shots in that moment, when he was in his patrol car. One of the policemen died on the spot and got seriously wounded, from which he soon died.
