Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the next head of the «Mossad» will be a 54-year-old Yossi Cohen, who now heads the national security Council.
His service in the «Mossad» Cohen began in 1982, after a course of recruitment of foreign agents. Then was appointed head of the intelligence Department «from». Before to announce his choice, Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the threat of Islamic terror, part of which is Palestinian terror. He noted that the Israeli army conducts operations and arrests of suspects in terrorist activities not only in Israel but in the Palestinian authority. He noted the great contribution of Israel’s intelligence in ensuring the security of citizens.
