Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad said he intends to regain control over the entire territory of the country and confident of success, but the intervention of foreign powers tighten this process.
In conversation with the correspondent of the Agency France Presse Bashar Assad expressed support for the peace negotiations on settlement in Syria, but stressed he intends to continue the fight against terrorism in parallel with the negotiations.
The Syrian leader has categorically rejected allegations of war crimes during the civil war. According to him, the investigators of the UN Council on human rights had not provided real evidence of such crimes.
In recent times, government forces, with the support of its Iranian and Lebanese allies, as well as due to the Russian aviation has won several important victories.
Earlier it became known that the participants held on Thursday, 11 February, at the Munich meeting of the International support group Syria reached an agreement on the establishment of the ceasefire during the week.
