In the night of Sunday, July 23, Israel had installed surveillance cameras at the ascent to the temple mount. In the quarter Isauiya Arabs threw stones and bottles with flammable mixture and firecrackers at the police. One detective suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Similar riots occurred in the district of a-Tur. There the police also used lethal weapons.
