U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday, 18 December, signed a law aimed at blocking access to the Lebanese Shiite terrorist organization Hezbollah international financing.
The law allows you to impose sanctions on international financial institutions, deliberately supports commercial ties with Hizbullah or with providing her the support structures.
In the law, in particular, lists are related to the «Hezbollah» structures, such as the TV station «al-Manar».
In addition, the law obliges the U.S. President to report to Congress regarding the participation of Hizbullah in the drug traffic, international crime, laundering of capital, the creation of a network of fundraising and logistics, as well as regarding the measures taken by the authorities to combat Hizbullah.
The initiators of the bill, previously approved by the U.S. Congress, were senators Marco Rubio (Republican) and Jeanne Shaheen (Democrat).
