Thursday, 18 February, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with the families of Israelis murdered in recent terror wave. The meeting was held at the request of the relatives of the victims of terror who wanted to share with the Prime Minister of his grief and to tell him about how they cope with bereavement.
The press service of the head of the government quoted one of the women, whose sister died in the attack. «We came to talk about their pain, we are here to support you, to do everything to ensure that this does not happen again,» the woman said.
The relatives of the victims asked the Prime Minister to check the possibility of expulsion to Gaza of families of terrorists, and to accelerate the destruction of their homes. Netanyahu explained that these issues were discussed by the government at the present time efforts are being made to promote this initiative, which has faced difficulties of a legal nature.
Netanyahu praised the actions of the army and police, and also said that he understands the pain of the relatives of the victims. «We are at war with terror for over 100 years, said the Prime Minister, we fight continuously and win. We will win this wave of terror. We are in a long fight. I tell you the truth, don’t embellish it. Rampant radical Islam in the world affects us.»
The relatives of the victims gave the Prime Minister a letter asking to continue the fight against the wave of terror.
