On Monday evening, 23 October, the head of a coalition government David Bitan threatened collapse of the government in that case, if is not approved the bill to ban investigation against the Prime Minister.
According to the Second channel ITV, Bitan said this during the meeting with the member of Knesset Rachel Azarias («Kulan»), one of the opponents of this bill. «You want to break up the coalition?» asked her Bitan. He confirmed that the coalition could fall apart if the law is not approved, but added that there are other possibilities.
Threats from Bitana followed after the head of the party «Kulanu» Moshe Kahlon gave a Deputy from his party the freedom to vote on various issues not included in the coalition agreement.
