Lori Love, a British student with Asperger’s syndrome who is accused of hacking into computers of the FBI, the Federal reserve system, the leadership of the US army, Pentagon and NASA and stealing classified information, will not be extradited to the U.S., where he faces 99 years in prison in solitary confinement.

This ruling of the High court wrote on Monday, 5 February, British tabloid the Daily Mail.

The 33-year-old Lori, who lives with his parents in the vicinity of Newmarket, situated in Suffolk County, a hundred miles from London, diagnosed with clinical depression and a severe form of eczema. Advocates say that in the case of extradition and solitary confinement, he is likely to commit suicide.

Love is accused of stealing the personal data of several thousand civil servants from government institutions in the USA made in the period from 2012 to 2013. Westminster magistrate’s court two years earlier, ruled that he should be extradited to the United States, but in November last year, the defendant appealed this decision to the High court.

The question of whether Love is prosecuted in his homeland, is still open.

Note that Asperger’s syndrome is one of the five General developmental disorders characterized by significant difficulties in social interaction and restricted, stereotyped, repetitive interests and activities.
