According to the Central statistical Bureau (CSB) in the first quarter of 2017, housing in Israel fell by an average 2.9% compared to the previous quarter.
According to the newspaper «Globs», these are the most significant quarterly decline in apartment prices in almost ten years – since the fourth quarter of 2007.
However, it should be noted that the current data of the CSB are not final and can be further refined.
In the district HaSharon in January-March apartments fell by 6.9%, in the southern district by 2.6% in the Jerusalem district by 0.6%.
At the same in the Haifa and Central districts housing prices, in contrast, grew by 2.3%, and in gush Dan – 2.8%.
