Australian retail chain Cotton On, which is the largest in the country, has withdrawn a batch of globes, in which Israel was named Palestine, wrote on Thursday, 4 February, Jewish news Agency JTA.
The article notes that the company Typo, is a manufacturer of globes, has the ability to include the names of even very small countries, so the problem is not technical properties.
On his page on the social network Facebook Cotton On informs users that will replace these globes a new party, where all countries will be marked correctly.
Typo previously stated in response to criticism struck her that the producers of the globes just not managed to hold the two words «Israel» and «Palestine», in such a limited space.
On these globes the word «Azerbaijan» was misspelled, and the Caspian sea is mentioned twice.
