Investigators believe Tashfeen Malik, a terrorist who killed with her husband of 14 people in San Bernardino, pledged allegiance to the leader of the terrorist organization «Islamic state» Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
CNN reported citing informed sources that Tashfeen Malik has published a statement on the social network Facebook, using a different user name, and did so while committing his crimes.
The consequence tends to the version that the massacre in San Bernardino was «inspired» by the ideology of the IG, but the gunman is unlikely to have received direct indication of the management of the group to commit a terrorist attack.
Earlier it was reported that the husband and the accomplice Tashfeen Malik, Syed Rizwan Farooq, in 2013 twice with an unknown purpose, he visited Saudi Arabia and was linked through social networks with Islamic extremists. It should be noted that with Malik, a native of Pakistan, he met when she worked in Saudi Arabia.
2 December, three armed criminals in the building of the Inland Regional Center, which houses the offices of the organization involved in helping people with special needs, opened fire on people gathered for the Christmas holiday. The attackers fired from 65 to 75 shots. 14 people were killed and 21 were injured (the condition of ten victims from serious to critical).
28-year-old Syed Rizwan Farooq and 27-year-old Tashfeen Malik were later shot dead by police, the third offender fled.
U.S. President Barack Obama previously declared that the motives of the crime are not clear to him and called to revise American laws on the right of citizens to keep and bear arms, recognized in his speech at the White house: in San Bernardino, apparently, there was a terrorist attack.
Relatives say Farooq knew nothing about his actions, and condemn it. Farooq and Malik, have left six-year-old daughter.
