The County of Cambridgeshire police opened a criminal investigation against Professor Marsha Levin, previously taught at Cambridge University, which refused to help the Israeli high school for political reasons, and then in conversation with journalists about this event called Jews by the Nazis.
This statement was made in interview to the edition of the London Jewish Chronicle.
As previously reported, 13-year-old Israeli Shahar Rabinovich, a resident of a kibbutz in the North of the country, appealed to Professor Lewin with a request for help: girl enjoys horse breeding and asked Levin, who is a recognized expert in this area, to share information.
«I live in Israel. Got a school assignment to write a paper about horses and I’d be very grateful if you could answer a few questions on this subject,» quoting from a letter girls the website of the newspaper The Jerusalem Post.
Researcher response to that was: «You’re still a child but old enough to write to me, and thus to study the history of Israel and how it has affected the lives of the Palestinian people. I will answer your questions when Palestinians in Palestine will have peace and justice».
Dr. Levin further explained that she is a member of the organization «Jews for justice for Palestinians» and supports the BDS movement, calling for a boycott of the Jewish state.
