According to the Central Bureau of statistics, in January 2017, housing prices in Israel rose by 0.1% compared to December last year.
While rental housing, according to the CSB, in January rose by 1.1%, that is 11 times more than buying, newspaper the Marker informs.
Recall that in late March, the Bank of Israel published a report according to which in 2016 the prices in the local housing market grew by 6.3%.
The cost of rental housing in the past year increased by only 1.4%, which was the lowest indicator over the last decade, noted in the report.
