The Ministry of education on 9 February released results of a survey of schoolchildren conducted by the National center for research and evaluation in the past school year.
In the survey 38% of students from 4th to 6th class complained that in the 2014-2015 academic year, they were insulted by other students, which is 1% higher than the previous academic year. 39% of students in 7th and 8th grade were insulted, and in high school — 27%.
About a quarter of students in grades 4-6 complained of «moderate» violence by classmates in grades 7-9 and in upper grades, the average is 18% and 11% respectively.
In 2014-2015, 12% of students in grades 4-6 complained of «serious» physical violence in school. In middle and high schools, the average is 6 to 8%.
The study revealed that 6% of pupils were subjected to bullying in social networks. Rarely on the Internet are insulted primary school pupils.
10% of primary school pupils complained that the victims of sexual jokes or actions of a sexual nature, in middle school, the figure is 17% and in high school — 16%.
About half of high school students admitted that they consumed strong alcohol (whiskey, brandy, vodka). Among middle school students, the figure is 20% and in primary schools — 10%.
About a quarter of high school students admitted that in the last academic year they were seriously drunk. And this figure is 4% lower than in the previous academic year.
