According to rumors, among the largest in Paris brothel, which employed 500 women, were so influential and well-known personalities as John F. Kennedy, Muammar Gaddafi, Marlon Brando and others.
The hostess had a turbulent past, which still remain gaps. Madame Claude claimed to have grown up in the monastery and some time spent in a concentration camp, but biographers refute these statements.
It is known that Madame Claude was a member of the French Resistance. In the mid 70-ies of the last century she was accused of tax evasion, she fled to the United States, then was back in France and was put into prison.
In 1992, Madame Claude was found guilty of pimping.
