On Friday, February 2, in the uninhabited area in regional Council Hof Ashkelon was discovered by a rocket that on Thursday, February 1, was launched into Israel from the Gaza strip.
The launch was recorded at approximately 23:25. System of warning of a possible rocket attack («tsewang hell») didn’t work. The military assumed that the rocket fell on the Gaza strip.
In response to a rocket attack in the night of Friday, 2 February, the Israeli military fired on an observation post of the militants of the terrorist organization Hamas in Northern Gaza.
