Pyongyang has completed the technical work on opening the lines of communication for negotiations between the commanders of the armies of the DPRK and South Korea. The line closed within two years, will work again on Wednesday, January 10.
About this decision the representatives of the DPRK informed the representatives of South Korea in the direct negotiations taking place in the village of Panmunjom in the Demilitarized zone.
As previously reported, the first in the last two years of direct talks between representatives of Pyongyang and Seoul, the North Korean authorities decided to send the national team to the Winter Olympic games in February this year in South Korea’s Pyeongchang.
During negotiations it was also decided to hold meetings between separated during the Korean war families.
