The Romanian authorities have closed to one of the most popular attractions in Romania, Poenari castle, called by the guides «real castle Dracula.»
The reason for the temporary closure of the castle was the desire of local authorities to protect tourists from encounters with bears.
Recently a few tourists climbing up the stairs with a height of 1480 steps to the ruins of an ancient castle, faced with a brown bear, who is raising three cubs nearby, the BBC reports.
The Ministry of environment has issued to local authorities for permission to export animals, but it is unclear where they can be sent. Police believe the bears were attracted by food tourists leave behind near the castle.
