Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktoum has launched a new initiative to prepare one million Arab programmers. Courses arranged as the competition, will consist of three stages.
The study will be carried out on specialized sites administered by the Dubai Fund. Students are offered specialization: creation of websites, mobile interfaces, applications, analysis of databases.
A thousand best students will receive scholarships for further education, diplomas, as well as the opportunity to participate in the competition of programmers. The main prize is 1 million dollars, winners expect the prize to $ 50,000. Cash prizes are provided for the best teachers.
«Computer code is a language spoken by the modern world. We need to prepare our youth for the future. Our project is part of an initiative to reduce unemployment in the Arab world,» said the monarch.
