As a result of earthquake in the night of Saturday, December 26, in the northeast of Afghanistan, near the border with Pakistan and Tajikistan, one person died and about 50 people were injured, reports news Agency AFP.
According to the U.S. Geological survey, the magnitude of the earthquake, recorded at 23:44 local time, amounted to 6.3. Its epicenter was located 41 kilometers North-West of the city of Eshkashem (Afghanistan) and 281 km in the North-East of Kabul, the center lies at a depth of 203,4 km.
In Pakistan earthquake victim was a pregnant woman, more than 30 people were injured. Another 13 people were injured in the Afghan province Nangarhar. Partially or completely destroyed hundreds of houses in the territory of both countries.
