In Egypt began joint exercises by the Egyptian and American armed forces, named Bright Star 2017. Maneuvers in the era of Hosni Mubarak held every two years, were last held in 2009.
The center of exercises, which will last until 25 September, will be the military base Muhammad Naguib, located 200 kilometers West of Alexandria.
