The military Commission had completed its discussion of the request Elora Azariah, who was convicted of manslaughter terrorists in Hebron on parole.
The Commission’s decision will be published in the coming days.
During the meeting, ALOR Azariah requested the Commission to allow him to leave prison after serving half of prison sentence. «I gave all myself and even when I got hit with a heavy stone, which threw me a terrorist, continued to serve with the same motivation,» said Azariah. He added: «here comes Pesach, the festival of freedom. Need to heal the bleeding wound that hurts not only me and my family, but so many in our nation. I ask you to release me.»
In turn, the representative of the military prosecution said that the prosecution strongly opposes parole of the convicted person. «The crime was committed deliberately, and not due to negligence or by mistake. So the court ruled. Such a crime is a serious blow to the army and its bases,» added the Colonel Sharon of Zagagi-Pence.
ALOR Azariah was sentenced to fifteen years in prison, he began to serve his sentence on August 9. On September 27, the chief of staff Gadi Gadi eizenkot has reduced the sentence of Azariah four months.
