ANSA also expressed concern about the negative impact of the incident on the journalists of the Agency.
We are talking about the film, which was shown on the Lebanese TV channel «al-Mayadin» on the evening of 30 July. The first of three episodes, told about the period taken by the IDF in 1978 operation Litani to the abduction of Israeli soldiers Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev on 12 July 2006. This film was shown footage of the attack of militants on an Israeli patrol.
For his movie Michele Moni interviewed many Israeli officials, including Amir Peretz, who served in 2006 the post of defense Minister, Tzipi Livni, and Tomer Weinberg, the only survivor in the attack of insurgents «Hezbollah» on a military patrol on the Israeli border.
Weinberg said that an Italian journalist had deceived him, as I have spoken about the film to be shown in Italy, not a propaganda film for «Hezbollah».
Israeli authorities started the investigation against ANSA. The head office of ANSA in Israel Mossimo Lomakino once said that the journalist-freelancers Michele Moni his Agency has never booked an interview with any of the characters in the film.
