Florida resident pleaded guilty of threatening to blow up two mosques and shoot believers shortly after the terrorist attacks in Paris in November 2015, committed by supporters of the terrorist organization «Islamic state».
Alan Martin Schnitzler (43) from Seminole pleaded guilty in court in Tampa. Theoretically it can be sent to prison for 20 years, but most likely he will get a lighter sentence.
According to the indictment, Schnitzler threatened Islamic center of St. Petersburg (FL) and the Islamic centre County Pinellas.
The defendant’s lawyer said that his client regretted the insult believers. He stressed that Schnitzler has not taken any steps to carry out his threat.
