A year ago, in early October, on the eve of the day of judgment (Yom Kippur), unknown vandals desecrated a Jewish cemetery in the town of Warwick (new York, USA).
The wall separating the cemetery from the road, was marred by Nazi symbols. Graffiti were painted on the stone fence of the cemetery in black paint. Police failed to detain the vandals.
However, a year after the incident, the leadership of the Jewish Federation of the district reminded citizens that it is a reward in the amount of 10 thousand dollars for any information leading to the bringing of criminals to justice. According to The Photo news.
In may this year, a police spokesman Warwick Tom Maslanka said that a case of vandalism at the Jewish cemetery still open. «We don’t close the case until, until we find the perpetrators,» said Maslanka.
