Wednesday, February 21, former Director General of the Ministry of communications Shlomo Filber began to testify to the police in the case of 4000 («the case of Bezeq»).
In the night of 21 February Filber signed an agreement with the investigation and will serve as the state’s witness in the so-called «case of 4000».
In the framework of the case investigated on suspicion of using the company «Bezeq» and Walla in exchange for positive coverage of the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In accordance with the agreement, Felber testify against the Prime Minister.
In the case of 4000 Filber is suspected of receiving a bribe, hindering the investigation and obtaining benefits fraudulently. Becoming the state witness, he is expected to avoid a real prison term.
