Sunday, July 3, former mayor natzrat Illit Shimon Gapso began serving six months in prison, to which she was sentenced.
On March 31 the Supreme court rejected the appeal of former mayor nazrat-Illit and decided that his actions are disgraceful and he should serve a prison term of six months.
The court held that Gapso took personal and active part in the actions of his entourage, who demanded that a city Council member, Seeds of Baron to resign, threatening otherwise to his ex-wife from work in the company on the development of natsrat-ilita.
According to the judges, these offense are bribery and misuse of official position for personal gain.
Initially, the court ruled that Hafsa will be sentenced to public works, but later the punishment was changed to imprisonment.
