In the question concerning Russia and anti-Russian sanctions, the leaders of the seven countries was unanimous: they agreed that sanctions against Russia will not be cancelled as long as the official Moscow does not fulfill the Minsk agreements aimed at ending the occupation of the regions of Donbass and the return of these territories in the legal field of Ukraine. Moreover, otherwise sanctions will be tightened.
At the end of the summit, the Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni expressed his satisfaction with the talks, noting that they allowed not only to reach agreement on several issues, but also to clarify the differences between the leaders of the G7.
