German foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier has threatened the Eastern European countries legal measures in case of refusal to accept immigrants. He said this in an interview with Der Spiegel.
The German foreign Minister said that if the problem could not solve in another way, you have to go to court, and stressed that in the European community there is a rule of law.
Frank Walter Steinmeier mentioned especially Hungary and Slovakia, which have threatened to challenge in court the decision on the allocation of quotas between member States in the EU. According to him, European solidarity cannot be one-sided.
Deutsche Welle reported that Germany and Austria, in particular, threaten the East European countries by deprivation of financial incentives.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban in an interview with Czech publication said that uncontrolled mass immigration into Europe is unacceptable. He accused left-wing European circles in plans to flood the EU migrants.
