Public institutions the United States should stop using the products of the Russian company «Kaspersky Lab». The corresponding Directive on Wednesday, September 13, released the Department of homeland security (DHS) US.
According to the document, the Agency «encourages departments and agencies to identify any use or availability of the products Kaspersky in their information systems over the next 30 days to develop detailed plans for the removal and cessation of product use [developer] in the next 60 days», reports TASS.
DHS requires state institutions 90 days from the date of publication of this Directive to «begin to implement a plan to eliminate the use and removal of products from information systems.»
«The use of the products «Kaspersky Lab» is the risk of information security of Federal information systems», – said the acting head of the DHS Elaine Duke.
