Municipality of the Dutch city of the Hague, capital of Netherlands, runs a program for the payment of restitution to descendants of Jews who were forced to pay real estate taxes in the period from 1942 to 1945.

The program starts on 1 January 2018. It includes payments to relatives of Jews who survived the Holocaust, who after the war forced to pay land rent and the so-called «street tax» – despite the fact that their property was expropriated by the Nazis and deported them to death camps or forced to escape.
