Simonovsky court of Moscow on Tuesday, February 20, admitted Roman Rubanov, the head of the Fund of struggle against corruption (FBK), established by Alexei Navalny guilty of organizing an unsanctioned rally and sent him under administrative arrest, reports «Interfax».
«Rubanov found guilty under part 2 of article 20.2 of the administrative code (organization of a meeting without notice). He was appointed administrative punishment in the form of ten days of administrative arrest», – said the Agency lawyer Ivan Zhdanov.
Roman Rubanov was arrested the night before and taken to the police station Danilovskoe, where it drew up a Protocol on administrative offense. According to the Protocol, Rubanov encouraged citizens to participate in the action which took place on 28 January in the framework of the «strike of the electorate.»
According to the TV channel «Rain», the bottom for this was a retweet of Alexei Navalny, who made Rubanov (his guilt is not admitted). In this case, the Protocol States that the retweet was made at 03:46 on 25 January, while Navalny wrote it at 14:46 the same day – that is, Rubanov, according to the Protocol, made a retweet before it was written.
